Charity Tug of War Competition

In 2022, all proceeds from the competition will go directly to Garden House Hospice Care, as teams from around the region compete for the prestige and honour that comes with being crowned Todd in the Hole ‘Tug of War’ champions.
Garden House Hospice Care provides a wide range of services for patients, their carers, and families facing a life limiting illness.
Free specialist palliative care is provided for over 500 adults a year living with advanced cancer, motor neurone disease or other life limiting illness in our community of 230,000 people in North Herts, Stevenage, Royston and surrounding villages.
The rules
To enter, all you need is a team of nine people, all wearing matching shirts or jerseys, and plenty of determination, not to mention a decent pair of shoes.
Entry fees for teams are £120 and all participants will gain free entry to the festival as well as an award-winning sausage from our friends at The Great British Sausage Company and a pint of your choosing.
